For the second time in 2024, Renata Jamrichova and Emerson Jones faced off in a Grand Slam girls' singles final, and for the second time, Jamrichova came out on top. The No.1 seed claimed the Wimbledon junior crown 6-3, 6-4 in 66 minutes over her opponent, becoming the first Slovakian player to win the title.
So far, no Slovak tennis player has managed to win two Grand Slam titles in junior singles. Tereza Mihalíková (Australian Open 2015), Kristína Kučová (US Open 2007) and Martin Kližan (Roland Garros 2006) each have one trophy. For the 17-year-old Jamrichova, this year's Wimbledon was the last Grand Slam tournament at which she will compete in the junior category.
