Slovakia drew 2-2 with Sweden in their third match in the C-Division of the UEFA Nations League. The match took place in Bratislava on Tehelné pole stadium. The visitors led thanks to Yasin Ayari and Ken Sema, but the Slovaks equalised after two goals by David Strelec.
The Swedes were better in the first half, dominating the midfield and were rewarded with two goals. However, the Slovaks reduced the deficit before the break thanks to Strelec. In the second, thanks to an improved performance, they were able to equalise when the 23-year-old striker scored again.
Slovak team stayed in 2nd place in the table, they have the same seven points as the first Swedes, but a worse score. Their next match will be against host Azerbaijan on Monday 14 October at 18.00 in Baku.
