Slovak table tennis player Barbora Balazova won the golden medal in the 2024 European Championships' doubles finale in Linz on Sunday, when together with her Czech teammate Hana Matelova they defeated the Austrian-Romanian duo of Sofia Polcan and Bernadette Szocs 3:2, TASR learnt on the same day.
Balazova won the first-ever gold for Slovakia in the continental championships.
