Slovak skier Veronika Velez-Zuzulová won Tuesday's Ladies Night Slalom race in Flachau, Austria, which was part of the FIS World Cup series. Velez-Zuzulová, who led after the opening run, skied an almost flawless second run for a definite win in the sixth slalom of the season. Another Slovak skier, Petra Vlhová ended in a very good 6th place, thanks to performing the best run in the second round. Czech skier Šárka Strachová finished second losing to Velez-Zuzulová only by 0.31 seconds. Sweden's Frida Hansdotter finished 3rd, maintaining her lead in the World Cup slalom standings with 425 points, while Strachova and Velez-Zuzulová sit second and third with 351 and 320 points respectively.
