The discussion of scientists and experts at the Government Office on resolving the situation with COVID-19 has been taking three days straight. They are talking about how to stop the growth in the number of patients in hospitals with COVID-19 or suspected of having contracted the infection. According to Prime Minister Igor Matovič, specific measures should be presented to the public on Friday (February 26th) after he introduces them to his coalition partners first. "It's an extremely fruitful, factual, constructive and I'd say an expert debate," said Matovič after the meeting on Wednesday, adding that he wants to look for support for the measures not only in the coalition but also in the opposition and President Zuzana Čaputová.
