Interior minister: Slovakia cooperates with foreign countries to clarify bomb threats

Speaking on STVR's discussion programme 'O 5 minut 12' on Sunday, Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Hlas-SD) said that the police are cooperating with foreign partners in the investigation of bomb threats sent to schools and courts.

Slovakia is also working on identifying the attacker with the involvement of foreign security services, said the minister. If such an attack were to be repeated and the risk was low, the attacker's goal might not be fulfilled, Sutaj Estok said in response to a question concerning the findings of Czech journalists. They are said to have communicated with an anonymous person who claims to be sending out e-mail threats in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The person told the media that he/she wants "children to be sent out into the cold in winter”.
